Here’s the gist,
Students will create an “Ordinary to Extraordinary” Mixed Media Self-Portrait inspired by “Ordinary Days” ( biography of legendary musician Prince. written by Angela Joy, pub’d by Roaring Brook Press/ Macmillan).
We will create custom color palettes, learn foundational watercolor skills, and use collage to create our portraits.
We will discuss how memories and symbolism can be used to create music and art.
Well play, paint, chat, create while listening to the Prince playlist from “Ordnary Days”. What can beat that!?
